She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, where she is a researcher at the Research Group on Media, Politics, and Technology (PONTE/UFPR). During her Ph.D. course, Ms. Mont’Alverne was a Visiting Research Student at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
